Freedom from Toxic Waste Rally Day
As part of a national Rally Day being coordinated by
Frackfree America National Coalition and NEOGAP (Network for Oil & GasAccountability & Protection), the Fracking Truth Alliance of Western Pennsylvania will be holding an open mic poetry experience in the woods of
Hoopenhobe Lane, off of Evergreen Road between Johnson Road and High Hill Road,
in New Bedford, PA, at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2012.
We will be celebrating the beauty and the glories of Penn's
Woods through the sharing of original or non-original poetry and short prose
passages and quotations.There will be
discussion following or intermingling with the poems, passages, and
quotations.
Everyone who appreciates the wonders of nature and of our
beautiful state is welcome to come to share and discuss, or just to listen and
to feel the Spirit of life stirring in the serenity of the woods.We hope to see YOU there for an hour or so
that will bring us together in peace and joy.>Bring a friend and, if you'd like to share, a poem, a passage, and/or a
quotation.Sign-up for sharing will
begin at 4:45.
